Brackets & Rigging
Our Shade Sails are supported by means of
stainless steel brackets and rigging which are attached to either an
existing structure or mild steel painted masts.
We use a variety of bracketing & rigging products specifically for
compatibility and application load bearing qualities. Other products
have been custom-developed by Shade Sails, these include:

2500kg Webbing which is used in the perimeter
of the sails which secures them to the rigging at the corners. These
allow for Sails to obtain improved perimeter tension and facilitate
better Sail alignment and shape when attached to the supporting rigging.

Adjustable
Rail Brackets also facilitate better Sail alignment and
shape when attached to the supporting rigging. They allow
for the angle at which the Sail is attached to be adjusted
thus providing variable diagonal positioning. |

Fixings
Using a ‘CAD’ design package, the support positions can be accurately
determined and where brackets are not required, the sail is supported
using 8mm grade 316 stainless steel eye nuts attached to studs embedded
in Hilti HIT 50 & 500 Epoxy or Fischer Epoxy systems.

Masts
We make use of mild steel painted masts which can be colour
coordinated to suit architecture and design elements. Masts of
varying diameter are erected using concrete bases, both of which are
engineered to suit the specific load requirements.
